My name is Jiho Kim, and I am currently a junior at Amador Valley High School. I was born in South Korea and moved to the United States when I was seven years old. Growing up in two different cultures has helped me develop strong communication skills in both Korean and English and has given me a broader perspective on different experiences and lifestyles. I enjoy learning about subjects that challenge me and help me think critically, especially history and statistics. Outside of school, music is a big part of my life, and I enjoy listening to different genres. I also value personal growth, hard work, and staying open to new opportunities. My experiences have shaped me into someone who is always looking to improve. 

 

Now, as my sister goes into college, she finds that she has a hard time buying supplies needed for her to live in her dorm. Miniscule things always bothered her as she forgot to buy certain things and she had to buy them in bulk, making her waste money and space. This was the start of the Survival Kit.
